Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
Our providers work collaboratively with specialists in other areas of medicine to provide you a tailored treatment approach.
Experienced practitioners
Our faculty see more than a million patients per year. Our large patient volume means that our care providers are experienced in treating wide-ranging mental health issues. Our patients come from St. Louis and the surrounding Midwest region, which includes urban, suburban, and rural residents from varying socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds.
Innovators in clinical care
Our team of psychiatrists and psychologists continue to be leaders in research aimed at advancing patient care. As part of a major academic medical center, our clinicians have access to state-of-the-art facilities and the latest applications of approved clinical research. In addition, in many cases, clinicians are able to refer patients to clinical trials or transitional-stage treatment methods that may not yet be widely available. Through our collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care, we foster an exchange of ideas that opens up new avenues of research exploration.
