Our faculty carry on the department’s tradition of excellence in clinical training and research education by contributing to the psychiatric education of students and trainees at all levels. Students benefit from being educated by researchers and clinicians who are leaders in elucidating basic mechanisms that cause mental illness.

Our residency program is rich in the variety of clinical rotations and electives offered, as well as both formal and informal didactic teaching. The opportunities for residents to become involved in research are numerous, both at the clinical and basic science levels.
Residents have access to faculty with outstanding expertise in all aspects of psychiatry, including neurosciences and psychotherapies.
