Mark Anastasio, PhD is leading the new Center for Computational and AI-Enabled Imaging Sciences. The Center for Computational and AI-enabled Imaging Sciences (C2AIS) at Washington University in St. Louis brings together imaging scientists, engineers, clinicians, and data scientists to advance imaging through the integration of physics, computation, and artificial intelligence. The Center connects fundamental research with the development of trustworthy tools that improve human health. C2AIS welcomes collaborations across WashU and with academic and industry partners in image acquisition and reconstruction, AI-based image analysis, multimodal data integration, imaging biomarkers, and rigorous evaluation of imaging technologies. Opportunities include joint research and grant proposals, clinical translation and validation, and interdisciplinary education and trainee mentorship.
