Research Interests


Dr. Nicol is clinical trialist and Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Washington University (WashU) School of Medicine and founding director of the WashU Center for Holistic Interdisciplinary Research in Psychedelics (CHIRP). She and her research team in the Healthy Mind Lab employ precision methods such as digital and multiomic phenotyping and functional MRI to better understand how treatments – both medical and behavioral – work to optimize mental and physical health across the lifespan.
