Areas of Research Interests
I am involved in several clinical studies. As a clinical investigator associated with the Washington University Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, my areas of emphasis have included the psychopathology of dementia of the Alzheimer type (DAT) and studying very mild forms of DAT. I am also involved in studies of affective disorder in populations with co-morbid medical disease, e.g., heart disease and Alzheimer's disease.

As Vice-chair for Education and former Residency Director, I am interested in trends involving psychiatric education.

As the former chair of the University's Conflict of Interest Committee, I maintain an interest in conflicts of interest as they relate to academic faculty and academic health centers.
