The Master of Psychiatric Epidemiology Program (MPE)
The Master of Psychiatric Epidemiology Program was created by Dr. Lee Robins in 1989. It is a unique program established to provide research training in psychiatric epidemiology. Dr. Wilson Compton took over the leadership of the MPE program in 1997. Dr. Compton left the University in 2002 for a position at the National Institute of Drug Abuse. Dr. Linda Cottler took over the leadership of the MPE program after Dr. Compton’s departure.
